Dale Peirson
Senior Myotherapist
In clinic Monday to Thursday
Dale qualified twenty-five years ago and holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Myotherapy). He spent a decade in practice here on the Mornington Peninsula, took several years away from the treatment room, and then came back to it — which, if you have ever met someone who returned to a job by choice rather than necessity, tells you most of what you need to know about how he feels about the work.
What people notice first is that the treatment is firm. Dale does not do the light, pleasant, general once-over. He finds the specific thing that is wrong and works it properly, and there are moments in a session where you will be very aware of exactly what he is doing. It is targeted rather than brutal — the intensity always has a reason behind it, and the pressure is a conversation. But if what you want is a gentle hour of drifting off, this is not the appointment — and the two-minute check will say so plainly rather than take your booking and hope.
What sits underneath the hands is the part that is harder to see from the table: a genuinely deep understanding of how the body is assembled, and why one thing failing quietly makes something three joints away hurt. That is what the assessment at the start of your first appointment is for, and it is why you will leave knowing the reasoning behind the plan rather than just the next appointment time.
